Michael is a Partner of Matrix China. In 2008, Michael joined Matrix China as one of the founding members. Within Matrix China, Michael has led investments in Cheetah Mobile (NYSE: CMCM), Tongdao Liepin Group (HK: 6100), QingCloud (CH: 688316), YuanFuDao, LandSpace, GalaxySpace, Zhenkunhang Industrial Supermarket, Beisen, ROOTCLOUD, To8to, Anjuke (acquired by 58.com in 2015), Lightelligence, Neocrm, Qiniu, Zhaogang.com, etc.

In 2002, Michael joined WI Harper Group and played an instrumental role in WI Harper’s investment in Focus Media together with David Zhang in 2004. He served as a partner when he left WI Harper in 2007.

In 2021, Michael has been ranked by 36Kr as the TOP20 China Frontier Technology Investors, the Annual Investment KOL TOP30 by FOFWEEKLY, and the Best Investors in Deep Tech Sector by Huxiu.com.
